I run this site personally. It collects as little as it can get away with.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, the following is stored:
- your email address
- the date you asked to subscribe and the date you confirmed, which is how I can show your consent was given
- a note that the signup came from this website rather than being imported
No name, no location, no IP address, no profile built from your behaviour elsewhere. Resend additionally records whether you opened an email and whether you clicked a link in it.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given by clicking the confirmation link in the email sent to you. You are not added to the list until you do.
Processor: Resend stores the list and delivers the emails on my behalf, under a data processing agreement. Resend stores data in the United States; the transfer relies on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Resend records whether an email was opened and whether links in it were clicked. I use that only to judge whether the newsletter is worth continuing.
Retention: while you are subscribed. Unsubscribing marks your address as unsubscribed rather than erasing it — that record is what stops you being re-added if your address ever appears in an import. If you would rather be erased entirely, ask me and I will delete the contact outright.
Withdrawing consent: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and it takes effect immediately. You can also email me.
Contact form
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to my inbox by Formspree. They contain whatever you chose to put in them. I keep them as long as the conversation is useful.
Analytics
The site uses Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Email info@adrianmoreno.info and I will handle it. If you think I have got it wrong, you can complain to your national data protection authority — in Denmark, Datatilsynet.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, subscribers will be told by email.
